Diversity is growing within schools rapidly and it is important as a teacher to embrace it within the classroom. I spoke about cultural diversity in my topic exploration paper for ECS 100 because it is a topic that I feel very strongly about. I feel as though how I concluded with my last paragraph stood out the most in my paper. I wrote, Cultural diversity is a large subject matter that should not be taken lightly when dealing with it in the classroom. The more experience a teacher gets with diversity the better off they will be in the long run. It is time for teachers to direct their lessons more towards the needs of all of the students although this might be difficult to do it will be better in the long run. There are, however, many teachers applying these ideas already into their classrooms but there are still a few who are not. Canada continues to grow in diversity and we as teachers need to be ready for whatever gets thrown at us.
